October/November Update

Since I am more than 3 months behind on this blog, I have decided to start with a massive catch-up post!  Here's a little of what we were up to in October and November, then I will get on to the good stuff from this month!

Hiking in Ventana Canyon
Clarkie climbing rocks

Clark on the opening day of Dove hunting season.

Digging into some delicious shish-kabobs.

Tough guy, complete with tattoo and mohawk, enjoying the warm Arizona fall weather at the pool.

Somersaults

Bike riding with Dad at the park

Enjoying the rides at Fall Fest

Riding the Fall Fest Ferris Wheel

Climbing trees at the park

Henry was a cowboy for Halloween

Clarkie was a fireman

More climbing at the park

Family trip to Starbucks on a cold night to satisfy Mommy's craving for a Peppermint Hot Chocolate

The boys cleaning their room

Clarkie at a friend's Halloween party making a brownie spider.

Pumpkin picking

Clarkie always goes for the ones that are bigger than he is.

Family of pumpkins in their wagon

Clarkie working on a crafty pipe cleaner spider at our playgroup's Halloween party.

Showdown between the cowboy and the white rabbit.

With Clarkie dressed as a fireman, we trick or treated at the local fire station.  They loved his costume so much he got to get in the fire trucks!

Trunk or treat at church.  I dressed up as a jack o lantern :)

The boys handing out candy.  That is apple juice in my hand.

The boys with their loot

Henry just being himself: adorable.

Clark and his coyote he shot on the first day of his elk hunt.  Clark drew a bull elk tag this year in the hunting lottery, which is really rare.  The hunt started on the day after Thanksgiving, so he left Thanksgiving morning to go set up camp.  He also took the camera, so I have no pictures of our Thanksgiving in Mesa with the Jones fam.  Any Jones' feel like emailing me some?

Taking a midday nap

And finally, the trophy.  This elk weighed approximately 600 pounds!  Clark was pretty proud, there were only 2 guys in his camp who filled their tags, and his was much bigger than the other guys.  And if anyone wants some Elk meat, we have like 200 lbs. of it coming our way soon after it's processed.
