Washington D.C.

I have been trying to catch up the blog so I can finally post about what we have been doing.  After our Christmas trip to Utah, we came home to Arizona and packed up and moved to Washington DC!  It's only temporary...Clark is doing an internship for the semester in the office of Senator John Kyl.  He is really enjoying it, getting a lot of experience and meeting lots of new people.  The kids and I are struggling with the cold weather a little, but we are finding lots to do.  It is pretty amazing to be living at the heart of it all; to drive down the street and there's the Washington monument across the water.  Here are a few pics of our adventure so far...more to come!

The DC Metro system is supposed to be the best in the nation, but if you ask me, BART has them beat

Clarkie at the Smithsonian Air and Space museum

Smithsonian Natural History Museum; this is where they have the Hope Diamond, which was beautiful, but they had it in a weird setting that really took away from its beauty
