Henry is my Cinco de Mayo baby, born on the 5th of May! Sometimes if Clark and I are talking about the kids in front of them and don't want them to know, we refer to Clarkie as Cuatro (cause he's the IV) and Henry as Cinco. We'll tell them about that someday :)
Henry is the sweetest, snugliest, most...sensitive kid. I love him to pieces for the way he will snuggle up next to me and bury his face in my shoulder. He is truly adorable. He also loves being a big brother, although Bobby usually starts to look a little scared when Henry comes around, he knows he is probably going to be squashed.
Henry has a vocabulary that I swear sometimes is better than Clarkie's. And people comment on what a good talker Clarkie is too. Henry is a little shy still, so other people rarely hear it, but Henry can seriously talk circles around most 3 year olds. He is keeping up with that big brother of his!
Henry is getting really good at riding his Strider bike (two wheeler with no pedals and no training wheels), still trying to keep up with his big brother. We'll see if he starts riding the big boy bike at 2 1/2 like Clarkie did.
I haven't taken Henry to the pediatrician for a 2 year checkup, but we weighed him at the zoo a few months ago (I know weird but the elephant exhibit has a scale in it) and it said 29 lbs, which is like 60%, and in comparing him to other kids his age, I think he's about 75% on height.
Henry had a pretty awesome birthday, but poor Clark was in finals. It brought back memories of when Henry was born, heading to the hospital with Clark's mom and sister while he took a Constitutional Law final. He made it in plenty of time for Henry's birth :)

We opened presents first thing, and I must say, Henry is a very well loved kid. He did pretty well!
Cars DVD from Grandma and Grandpa.
And this push Mater toy from Nana and Grandad. This thing also blows bubbles.
We went to the splash park for a sort of unofficial fun birthday thing. We go to the splash park a LOT, so this was not really a big deal for Henry. I've yet to do a friend birthday party for the boys, they are still so little, I am saving up my party planning energy for years they will remember ;)
I did try to make Henry a cool cake. I was embarassed about Clarkie's cake that turned out pink last year, so I tried to do better. This one is green cupcakes with a pretzel track, with some chocolate chips and sprinkles for effect, shaped like the number 2. Henry already had the Thomas, but the Percy was part of his presents. I think he loved his presents, they were all awesome, but he seemed to understand that I made this cake special for him. And then he spit all over it trying to blow out the candles!
happy birthday henry!! he's so cute:) and awesome cake!
