Robert Milo Jones is here!

Our beautiful Bobby was born on December 15th at 3:22 pm.  He weighed 9 lbs. 2oz. and was 19 1/2 inches long, although he measured 21 inches at one week, so who knows how tall he is :)  Here's the short version of his birth story:  I was 4 cm dilated for about 3 weeks before his due date, so my doc expected me to go into labor on my own any time.  Well, I was induced with both Clarkie and Henry, and it was the same with Bobby.  We went in at 7:30 on the morning of the 15th, and they started the induction.  My doctor was very busy this day, and since I was his easy patient on my third baby, we didn't actually see him until noon.  He came in and broke my water, and then things finally got moving, and and after a couple hours and about 5 or 6 pushes, our little Bobby was born!

All my boys! Henry was not so sure about his new baby brother at first, but he sure loves him now!  He always makes sure he has his pacifier and a toy and a blanket, and whatever else Henry can find to give him.

 Just a few minutes old, our first picture together.  It was love at first sight :)

After being moved to maternity; he was pretty sleepy those first few days.  They had given me an extra epidural dose right before delivery, and I think it may have gotten to him.
